Women Supporting Women
Nationally women make up less than 13% of our police force. And data and lived experience tell us that women in policing face different challenges than their male counterparts. And while we can't change everything at once, we can be part of positive change. The same data tells us mentoring, sponsorship, and support DO make a difference.
So the women of LPD launched the first program funded by our department grant: Women's Wellness. We promote the camaraderie, unification, and wellness—at home and at work— for the sworn and non-sworn women of the Lubbock Police Department.
We're here for you.
